Infographic of the timeline of the NBA lockout
Pretty great infographic — made through visual.ly via the fine folks at We Want Basketball, whose Tumblr is worth your eyeballs — tracing the NBA lockout through time, from its beginnings in the mid-Aughts to the cruddy present day.

Jeremy Tyler to David Stern: Tell me how my ass taste
The next high school big man prodigy has left America.
Jeremy Tyler, the 6’11 junior broke his commitment to Louisville and will likely head to Spain.
“Nowadays people look to college for more off-the-court stuff versus being in the gym and getting better,” Tyler said. “If you’re really focused on getting better, you go play pro somewhere. Pro guys will get you way better than playing against college guys. It was boring and I wasn’t getting better,” Tyler said. “Each game was the same thing. I was getting triple-teamed and getting hacked. After each game I’d have scratches and bruises up and down my arms from getting triple-teamed. It just wasn’t for me.”
So… how is Stern feeling about his rule about not allowing high school seniors to declare for the draft? Who knows, Jeremy Tyler might end up staying in Europe and start a trend. Try and put it in perspective - dude isn’t even a senior.
